About our medical oncologist Dr Bajpai:

I am writing this short testament in whole hearted support of Dr Bajpai. We came to him last year in June for my husband's treatment and while it has been a turbulent 7 months since, Dr Bajpai has remained approachable, eminently competent and unwaveringly patient through it all.
I can only cursorily attest to his competence as a medical oncologist because my background is not in medicine, his credentials speak loud and clear for themselves. What I can vouch for is that Manipal is truly lucky to have in its employ someone who will painstakingly parse apart every nuance of the condition and the treatment of the patient. He will also tailor his explanation and granularity of discourse to the audience: our son on law who is a medical professional himself and who has been in touch with Dr Bajpai was amazed at how much depth he went into while expounding on treatment options.
As is the case generally with cancer treatments, we have had to consult with multiple specialities - cardiologists, pulmonologists, gastroenterologists among others - for my husband's treatment. Dr Bajpai has proved to be a dependable point person for us, ably keeping track of lines of treatment being followed by each specialist.
Any hospital system can easily dissolve into chaos, it is the sheer willpower and discipline of professionals such as Dr Bajpai that offer us a bulwark of serenity in the storm. I firmly believe that if Manipal offered better infrastructure in terms of scheduling, ensuring availability of medicines in the pharmacy and inter departmental communication, patient outcomes would drastically change for the better.
Finally on a personal note, I would like to add that there is not one phone call the good doctor has not responded to.
Whether he is on holiday, unwell, at a conference, between procedures, even post op himself, he will answer immediately or within a couple of hours. Such peace of mind cannot be bought and such a bedside manner cannot be taught - it is innate.
The high point is we know him only as patients, the approach was surely not through some influence.
So this is a full throated endorsement in favor of Dr Bajpai. Please feel free to direct any questions and clarifications towards us..

My mother, 83 yrs , has been under Dr Peush Bajpai's care since May 2021 for ovarian cancer . She ĺdeclared him to be a good human being and always looked forward to her visits.
On the professional front I found him dedicated and thorough in deciding and varying her chemo dosages and intervals on every session as per her health parameters
Thus now my wife who was detected with CML this year is also under his able guidance and care.
He has a wonderful supportive team from whom I would specially mention ,his coordinator Monica and the nurses Sangeeta and Neha.

I have had a great experience with Manipal Hospital's Doctors and staff. Specially oncology department is very helpful. Each and every person in the whole oncology department is very nice. Dr Peush Bajpai is a brilliant doctor. His ability of taking decisions for ongoing treatment or post treatment have really proven to be effective. He is the Hero of oncology department.
Also, I would like to recognise Miss Monica from Oncology. She is extremely helpful and very nice person. She manages the doctor appointments efficiently. Her presence on her desk or in the hospital removes half of our worries.
Last but not the least I would like to highlight efforts of Oncology day care staff. Each and every person Dr. Kanchan, Sister Sangeeta, Sister Neha, Sister Jobi and all have expertise in doing their jobs.
I would like to say best of luck to Oncology team for their future. You guys are stars of Hospital.

Dr Peush is great and has tremendous experience. He is guiding my mum through each stage. He genuinely cares about patients. Monica, his assistant, is great in managing all the admin processes around appointments, insurance, etc and is always available for any sort of queries. Thank you both for your services!

Words are not enough to show my gratitude towards doctor Piyush Bajpai and his entire team. He not only cured me but give me strength to bear the pain and give me positive Vibes. Through out the 11months of chemotherapy he always a call away . I want to thank him and his entire team thanku so much to give another life to me.
