Kidney failure in a child

We were referred here from Vadi Liv Hospital for our son's kidney failure. Thanks to the treatment provided by Prof. Ozan Ozkaya and Associate Professor Mehmet Taşdemir, we saw remarkable improvement. We especially appreciated that Dr. Mehmet stayed in touch about the patient's condition even outside working hours and kept us informed at every stage of treatment. Polycystic kidney disease

More than just a doctor… She spent a full hour and a half with us. We came to her after receiving numerous recommendations. An ultrasound showed that my daughter has polycystic kidney disease; we will know more after genetic testing.

Kidney stones and celiac disease diagnosis

Although we live in Kocaeli, we began seeing Prof. Ozan Ozkaya after a referral from the surgeon who operated on my son. She monitored him very carefully because of kidney stones. When we mentioned a detail that seemed insignificant to us, she was the first to suspect a condition with no previous family history and ordered the necessary tests. As a result, our child was diagnosed with celiac disease and spared serious complications.
We are extremely grateful to her. We were fortunate to meet a specialist who performs her work with such dedication. Words alone are not enough to express our gratitude for her help.

Ankle swelling in a child

About two months ago, I took my four-year-old son to see Prof. Ozan Ozkaya at İstinye University Liv Hospital in Bahçeşehir. However, without examining the child, the doctor ordered numerous blood tests. When I asked whether she was going to examine him, she replied sharply that she had already ordered the tests.
I left the hospital without having the tests performed and went that same day to pediatrician Halil İbrahim at Medicana Beylikdüzü. He examined my child, said no tests were needed and recommended giving Dolven syrup for the ankle swelling for two days. The complaint indeed resolved on the second day.
When choosing a doctor, please make sure that the child is examined first. Otherwise, what is the point of choosing this hospital? Another specialist understood the situation quickly, while the professor spoke harshly. I have not returned to this hospital since.

Familial Mediterranean fever (FMF)

We searched online for an FMF specialist and found Prof. Ozan Ozkaya. We made an appointment and came to the hospital. She treated us with great attention and explained everything thoroughly.

We came to Prof. Ozan Ozkaya on a recommendation. My daughter had kidney stones as a child, so we came for a check-up to see whether they had returned or increased in size.
