My name is Dinara, I am from Uzbekistan. I want to share our experience of my father's lung surgery at Max Hospital in Saket, Delhi, performed by Dr. Kamran Ali.

My father is 75 years old and has several comorbidities, so we were worried about the risks. Dr. Kamran Ali — our primary doctor — based on the test results, said that my father was suitable for surgery. Despite the risks of removing the entire lung, he managed to preserve part of it. The surgery lasted seven hours and was successful.

Tuberculosis and fungal lung infection (VATS lobectomy)

My mother was diagnosed with tuberculosis in 2022, which was eventually cured. However, as a side effect, she started coughing up blood.

Then we turned to Dr. Kamran Ali. The upper lobe of her right lung was completely affected by a fungal ball. The surgery was successfully performed via VATS lobectomy. He is one of the kindest doctors we have met.

Pneumothorax

I found Dr. Kamran Ali to be the best thoracic surgeon — excellent, very polite and caring person. Eshaan was suffering from pneumothorax, and we were in shock.

I want to thank my close relatives — doctors Musheer, Mukaddar, and Nazli from Kishanganj (Bihar) — after a long search they found Dr. Kamran. He took every possible measure and performed the surgery; now Eshaan is completely healthy.

Lung carcinoid tumor (sleeve lobectomy)

Stage 4 lung adenocarcinoma (biopsy and pleurodesis)

I have known Dr. Kamran Ali for over 3 years.

He treated my father at Fortis Vasant Kunj. Dad suffered from stage 4 lung adenocarcinoma. We were recommended surgery to drain the pleural effusion and take a biopsy. It was a high-risk operation, and I didn't know what to do.
