




Professor Faysal Dane is a medical oncologist from Istanbul who works at Acıbadem Altunizade Hospital and at the same time teaches at the Marmara University Medical Faculty.
His main clinical focus is gastrointestinal cancer and, first and foremost, metastatic colorectal cancer. He is the first or lead author of the Turkish part of the international PRECONNECT and REGARD clinical trials, which evaluated the effectiveness of modern drugs in patients for whom standard lines of therapy no longer work.
In his scientific activity he also takes part in research on breast cancer oncology, brain re-irradiation in cases of multiple metastases, and mucinous histology in colorectal cancer.
He received the title of Associate Professor in 2010. He received the title of Professor at Marmara University in 2016.
From 2020 onward, clinical practice at Acıbadem Sağlık Grubu was added to his academic work. For the patient, this means an academically strong specialist specifically in the field of gastrointestinal oncology.

Acıbadem Altunizade Hospital is one of the largest clinics of the Acıbadem Healthcare Group, located on the Asian side of Istanbul. It is a multidisciplinary center with its own oncology line, including medical oncology, radiation oncology, surgical oncology, and a bone marrow transplantation department.
