I have been treated twice at the ACC cardiology department, and both times my life was saved thanks to an excellent team of doctors, nurses and support staff.
The hospital truly has a highly qualified and experienced team of doctors, especially Dr. C.P. Roy, Dr. Balbir Singh, Dr. Giriraj Yadav and Dr. Shweta.

Pacemaker implantation and angioplasty

Recently I had to bring my father to the Max Saket emergency department.
After initial examinations, it became clear he would need pacemaker implantation and angioplasty.
The treatment was carried out under the supervision of Dr. Balbir Singh.
During the stay at Cath Lab and Cath Recovery, the staff was exceptionally good, polite and very responsive.
All staff treated patients with great care and accompanying relatives with respect.

All the medical staff who cared for my patient Mr Prem Singh Kadian showed remarkable care.
The elderly patient was provided with all necessary care in a timely manner.

Total coronary artery occlusion

I was treated by Dr. S. Balbir Singh at Max Hospital Saket and underwent angiography on 29.10.2021.
According to the doctor, I had 100% artery blockage.
The doctor suggested attempting to open the chronic occlusion.
For hospitalization I deposited 4.5 lakh rupees, however almost 4 lakh were refunded, since despite all the doctor's efforts the blockage could not be cleared.
I highly appreciate the doctor's attitude, his efforts and care for the patient.
Due to low blood pressure I was kept under observation overnight.
Dr. Mayank Gupta and nurse Aashu showed great care.
I also thank Gourav and Deepansho Anand for prompt help with the refund.
Overall my treatment experience at the hospital was very good.

I, Ajay Kumar Jain, was under the care of Dr. Balbir Singh at Max Hospital Saket from January 21 to 31.
During my hospital stay, I noticed that the nurses, support staff, food service and cleaning staff provided the best service at any time of day.
The medical staff and supervisors were exceptionally polite, which made the patient feel as comfortable as possible.

After examination, Dr. Balbir Singh and his team placed a stent in the left artery.

The hospital has good doctors.
I consulted with Dr. Balbir Singh and consider him the best cardiologist in Delhi.
Previously, elderly patients received a 10% discount, but it is no longer available.
The doctor always tries to select treatment based on the patient's budget and does not prescribe unnecessary examinations.
Ms Anjali and the rest of the staff are also very good.

The Max Saket cardiology department under the leadership of Dr. Balbir Singh operates at an outstanding level.
Cardiac surgeon Dr. Rajneesh Malhotra and his team are true professionals who support the patient and family throughout the entire open heart surgery process.
The ICU team, anesthesiologist Dr. Sanjay and all staff showed enormous care and support.
Nurses, cleaning, food service staff and physiotherapist Dr. Mojib also provided tremendous help.

Dr. Balbir Singh is one of the most distinguished cardiologists in India. He holds the position of Chairman of Cardiac Sciences at the Max Healthcare network and oversees cardiology across all clinics of the network nationwide. His operating base is Max Super Speciality Hospital in the Saket district of New Delhi.

His main distinction is being a pioneer of electrophysiology and interventional treatment methods in India. Over his 34+ year career, he has introduced many new catheter intervention techniques: radiofrequency ablation of arrhythmias, coronary angioplasty, transcatheter heart valve procedures (TAVI, MitraClip), and implantation of devices for heart failure treatment.

In 2007, at just 42 years old, he was awarded the Padma Shri — India’s 4th highest civilian honor, which is rarely given to practicing physicians. This represents national recognition of his contribution to the development of medicine.

His education comes from India’s top public medical institutions: MBBS and MD at Maulana Azad Medical College, DM in cardiology at Govind Ballabh Pant Hospital. He served as professor at AIIMS Delhi for 4 years. From 2009 to 2019 he was Chairman of Cardiology at Medanta-The Medicity. He joined Max Healthcare in November 2019.
