Dr. Arun Saroha is one of the most renowned neurosurgeons in India, specializing in brain and spine surgery. He currently heads the Department of Neurosurgery and Spine Surgery at Max Super Speciality Hospital in Gurugram and is among the leading specialists in the Delhi region.
Over more than 20 years of practice, Dr. Saroha has performed over 8,000 brain and spine surgeries. His key focus is minimally invasive and endoscopic spine surgery, which reduces surgical trauma, lessens pain, and speeds up the patient’s recovery. He is also considered one of the first neurosurgeons in India to begin performing scoliosis correction surgeries — complex spinal deformities.
Patients value Dr. Saroha for his calm and measured approach to treatment. He does not prescribe surgery unnecessarily and primarily considers conservative methods of therapy. Surgical intervention is recommended only when it can genuinely improve the patient’s quality of life.
Dr. Saroha received his medical education at RNT Medical College (Udaipur), and completed his postgraduate specialization in neurosurgery at PGIMER Chandigarh — one of the leading medical institutes in India. Over the years he has worked at major neurosurgical centers in the country, including VIMHANS, Paras Hospital, and Artemis Hospital, and since 2016 he has been part of the Max Healthcare network.
