About clinic

Safra Children's Hospital is one of the most famous multidisciplinary medical centers in Israel. The clinic is located in Tel Aviv, on the territory of the largest state hospital named after Chaim Sheba. Safra Children's Hospital was built in 2002 with the support of a private charitable foundation named after Edmond and Lily Safra.

More than 60,000 patients are treated here every year, many of whom come from other countries for diagnosis and treatment.

The medical institution specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of diseases, as well as congenital anomalies in children from infancy to 18 years of age. More than 15 specialized departments function on the basis of the children's hospital: gastroenterology, neurology, neurosurgery, oncology, cardiology and cardiac surgery, nephrology, urology, surgery, and orthopedics.

The medical center provides assistance to young patients “without pain”. All diagnostic and therapeutic procedures are carried out using modern methods of anesthesia and psychological support, which allows for saving children from discomfort and fear.

Diagnosis at Safra Children's Hospital

Safra Medical Center provides comprehensive diagnostics using the latest generation of medical equipment. Innovative equipment allows diagnosing diseases of various localization in a short time and with the utmost accuracy.

To carry out blood analysis in preschool children, non-invasive methods are used, which are based on the use of special transcutaneous sensors. Thanks to the sparing modes installed on the CT scanner and X-ray machine, it is possible to minimize the radiation effect on the child's body.

Particular attention is paid to prenatal screening, which is aimed at identifying intrauterine anomalies in the development of the fetus. To do this, a number of laboratory and instrumental studies are carried out, on the basis of which the attending physician uses a computer to calculate the possible risks.

Diagnosis: lymphoma

We would like to bring our gratitude and deep appreciation to Dr. Avraham Kellner, Head of the Lymphoma Department and Deputy Head of the Hematology Department. We had to be convinced of this at a sad moment, however, we saw that there are angels in your hospital. Dr. Kellner is our daughter’s doctor. He put himself at our disposal 24 hours a day with sensitivity, patience and above all, professionalism of the highest standard. He was our support, gave us personal support in the most difficult moments.

Diagnosis: High rectal atresia with fistula

The situation that happened in our country, of course, goes beyond common understanding. We arrived with a diagnosis of High rectal atresia with fistula, and expected to receive examination with further hospitalization. The professionalism of Dr. Bialik is simply admirable. He denied our diagnosis, and the examination showed that my girl (four months old) is healthy, and the operation she performed in Russia is a big mistake. We agreed to do a corrective operation in Israel.

I would like to note the well-coordinated work of your center, all negotiations with the doctor were translated competently, clearly, and received a lot of advice.

I want to wish everyone great health, longevity, your work is not easy and deserves gratitude from patients.
