
Sinemis Celik is a Turkish medical oncologist currently practicing at Medical Park Istanbul Oncology Hospital (Maltepe district, Istanbul). She specializes in systemic drug therapy for adult cancer patients, with a primary focus on breast cancer, lung cancer, colorectal cancer, and prostate cancer.
She received her medical degree from the Pamukkale University Faculty of Medicine. From 2005 to 2011, she completed her residency in Internal Medicine at the Department of Internal Medicine, Pamukkale University. After completing her residency in 2011, she fulfilled her mandatory government service as an Internal Medicine specialist at Hakkari State Hospital (Hakkari Devlet Hastanesi).
From 2011 to 2014, she underwent subspecialty training (Sub-specialty Fellow) in Medical Oncology at Dr. Lütfi Kırdar Kartal Training and Research Hospital in Istanbul. Between 2014 and 2017, she worked as a Medical Oncologist at Sultan I Murat State Hospital in Edirne. From 2017 to 2019, she served as an Assistant Professor (Dr. Öğr. Üyesi) at Okan University Hospital in Istanbul, where she was also a member of the academic education committee. She later joined Medical Park Istanbul Oncology Hospital, where she currently practices.
In her clinical work, she applies modern standards of systemic treatment for solid tumors, including chemotherapy, targeted therapy, immunotherapy, and hormonal therapy. She has participated in international multicenter clinical trials, including projects related to the Turkish oncology registry for metastatic colorectal cancer.
She is a co-author of scientific publications in international peer-reviewed journals, including Tumour Biology, Clinical and Translational Oncology, and the Journal of Oncology Pharmacy Practice. Her research interests include breast cancer treatment, metastatic colorectal cancer, lung cancer, and the molecular biology of prostate cancer.
She is a member of the Turkish Society of Medical Oncology (Türk Tıbbi Onkoloji Derneği), the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO), and the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO).
She consults patients in Turkish and English.
