






Dr. D. K. Jhamb is a senior interventional cardiologist from India with more than 30 years of experience in the profession. He received his education at the leading state institutions of India: MBBS at Maulana Azad Medical College (New Delhi), MD at Lady Hardinge (Delhi), and DM in Cardiology at All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS, New Delhi).
Dr. Jhamb completed an international fellowship in interventional cardiology at the San Raffaele Hospital in Milan (Italy). His main focus is complex interventional cardiology: he has performed more than 50,000 coronary angiographies and about 25,000 angioplasties (PTCA).
His range of modern procedures includes TAVI/TAVR (transcatheter aortic valve replacement), MitraClip, carotid angioplasty, implantation of pacemakers (including the wireless Micra), ICDs and CRT, and treatment of aortic dissection.
Currently, the doctor heads the interventional cardiology department at SHALBY Sanar International Hospitals in Gurgaon. Previously, he led the cardiology centers at Paras Hospital (Gurgaon) and the Indian Spinal Injuries Centre (Delhi).
