Dr. Manjinder Sandhu is an Indian interventional cardiologist with a total medical experience of around 40 years. He began his career in the Indian military medical service, rose to the rank of Colonel, and served as Senior Advisor in Cardiology at the military hospital in Delhi.
His strong areas are complex coronary interventions: primary angioplasty in heart attack, work with bifurcation lesions, chronic total occlusions, and lesions of the left main coronary artery. He uses intravascular imaging (IVUS) and rotational atherectomy. He performs most procedures via the radial artery — a minimally invasive access route with quick recovery.
He performs structural interventions TAVR and MitraClip — treatment of severe valve lesions without open-heart surgery. The total number of procedures, according to declared data, is more than 20,000.
He holds international fellowships FACC and FSCAI. He has been awarded the Times Healthcare Achievers — Legend in Cardiology (2018) and the FICCI Healthcare Excellence Award. He accompanied the President of India on foreign trips.

Fortis Memorial Research Institute (FMRI) in Gurgaon is one of the leading multi-specialty institutions in India. The hospital is part of the Fortis Healthcare network, holds JCI and NABH accreditations, and focuses on high-tech surgeries and complex diagnostic cases.
The FMRI cardiology unit is one of the most advanced in India: modern interventional cardiology laboratories (Cath Lab), hybrid operating rooms for structural interventions (TAVR, MitraClip), and departments of cardiac surgery and rehabilitation.
For international patients, an international department is in operation: coordinator, interpreter, visa assistance, transfers, accommodation booking, and accompaniment during treatment.
