Professor Levent Türkeri is a Turkish urologist-oncologist with more than 35 years of clinical experience and one of the strongest academic profiles in the country. He defended his doctoral dissertation in molecular biology and genetics, which gave him a rare combination of clinical and scientific expertise for a practicing surgeon. Since 2011 he has been a Professor of Urology, and since 2010 he has been working at Acıbadem Healthcare Group. His narrow specialization is the surgical treatment of prostate, bladder, kidney and testicular cancer using robotic, laparoscopic and open techniques. In 2009 he received the national scientific prize of the Turkish Urooncology Association. He is a board member of the Turkish Urooncology Association and heads the school of urology at the Society of Urological Surgeons. He is an active member of leading international associations — AUA, EAU, ESU, EORTC, SIU. According to reviews, patients note successful complex robotic and laparoscopic operations for prostate, kidney and testicular cancer, an empathetic approach and trust from the very first meeting. For a patient with a uro-oncological diagnosis, this is a combination of evidence-based clinical practice and surgery in an internationally accredited clinic.
Urology. Narrow specialization — uro-oncology: cancer of the prostate, bladder, kidney and testicle. Surgical techniques: robotic, laparoscopic and open surgery. Scientific focus — molecular biology of tumors of the genitourinary system and clinical research.

Acıbadem Altunizade Hospital is one of the largest clinics in the Acıbadem Healthcare Group network with international JCI accreditation. The clinic’s oncology unit includes departments of medical oncology, surgical oncology and radiotherapy, as well as systems for stereotactic radiosurgery (Gamma Knife Icon) and MRI-guided adaptive radiotherapy (MR Linac). The clinic has a urology department with a robotic surgery program (da Vinci system), used for radical prostatectomy and removal of the kidney and bladder. For a patient with a uro-oncological diagnosis, this is the opportunity to go through the entire pathway — from diagnosis and discussion at a multidisciplinary council to robotic surgery and, if necessary, radiation therapy — in a single internationally accredited clinic with direct access to the professor both through the hospital and through his own private practice.
