I had an operation at the Breast Cancer Center at the Helios Krefeld Clinic in September 2022. At the same time, the breasts were preserved. I am very grateful. Professor Friedrich gave very clear advice, and I stopped worrying about my illness and the upcoming operation, I trusted the surgeons. Thank you for your attitude and for saving lives.

With my diagnosis of uterine cancer, I was offered a treatment regimen - first radiation therapy, then chemotherapy and regular monitoring. The next day after the consultation with Prof. Friedrich, I went to radiation therapy. After 3 sessions of radiation therapy, the temperature rose, I felt bad. I spent a week in the hospital on a drip. Therefore, it was decided to cancel the next sessions of radiation therapy and switch to chemotherapy. Since we paid money for radiation in advance, we recalculated for unused sessions and the money went to pay for chemotherapy. Now I am already at home, under the supervision of the attending physicians.

My treatment is not yet completed, but I am glad that I got to such pleasant and professional people, led by Professor Friedrich. You do not leave a person alone with a disease. Thank you!

We were at the Gynecological and Oncological Center Helios Krefeld. The level of medicine is very high, not like ours.... Professor Friedrich consulted us on all issues. Treatment was prescribed.

I met Serkan Erkanli in 2018, I had ovarian cysts and since my cancer markers were high, the doctors I spoke to ( renowned in the field) recommended surgery. Serkan Erkanli examined me and told me that surgery might be the last option and that these cysts would go away on their own, but frequent follow up was necessary. As his professional experience gave me confidence, I listened to Serkan Erkanli and my cysts did indeed disappear. At the routine check-up I had in 2022, the cysts formed again and he recommended surgery as I was in menopause and there were cases of cancer in my family. The surgery was very comfortable due to his attentive attitude, detailed explanations, careful monitoring and psychological support before and after the surgery. I did not experience any pain or discomfort after the surgery, he kept me informed about everything with all patience and reassured me. He is a great doctor and a wonderful person.

This was my first experience with surgery. I had seen 6 doctors over the course of 2 years, I had been examined, had scans and tests but was hesitant to have surgery. Then, as a result of my search, I met Prof. Dr. Serkan Erkanli. He turned out to be a very experienced, well trained and reassuring doctor. Thanks to Dr. Serkan's detailed information, positive and calm approach, I decided to undergo the surgery and had a very successful fibroid removal surgery without any worries or anxieties. He personally checked on how I was feeling every day I stayed in the hospital after surgery. He is very disciplined, very professional and meticulous about his work. I had surgery to remove my ovaries and uterus on 31.08.2016. Dr. Serkan Erkanli, God bless him, ended my 22 years of suffering. I started walking without support on the 4th day after surgery, I am very happy, thank you very much to my doctor who gave me back my life.

I went to Dr. Serkan in a stressful situation after the doctor who was seeing me informed me that I had a neoplasm and referred me to Dr. Serkan. On May 30, 2014, I had surgery to remove a myoma. The myoma, like a balloon growing in the most unlikely corner of my uterus, was scraped out without damaging my uterus with exquisite skill. The surgery I had and the fact that the doctor did everything himself, right up to the post-op dressing, answering every question and giving clear information, was very supportive and reassuring. He is very professional and yet humble. I recommend him to everyone.

I had been following the work of the esteemed Dr. Shafaq Olgan for a long time at his previous place of employment, but due to my own work schedule, I was not able to get in to see him. Once he moved to Memorial Hospital, I became one of the first patients to make an appointment with him. From day one, I did not expect to meet such a great team. The coordinator Gulhan, the staff at the front desk, our receptionist Derja, nurse Saadet, nurse Deniz, and of course Dr. Safak himself, with his calm, patient and encouraging attitude, all make an incredibly well-coordinated team. Regardless of the outcome of treatment, everyone here goes the extra mile and always supports wholeheartedly. I had a positive outcome on my first try, and I hope everyone who comes here will experience that as well. The only thing that saddens me is that after the positive result, I will no longer be able to continue with this team. Due to carrying thalassemia, we decided to undergo IVF treatment with PGD. We consulted in several centers in Antalya, but in the end we chose Dr. Safak Olgan. From day one, Dr. Safak and his team created an open, honest and sincere dialogue with us. The surgeon was amazing (!!!) and really reassured me before the operation, but unfortunately, she did not come out to inform my parents about how the surgery went. We were left without information on whether everything went well. Additionally, the medical staff (nurses) rushed me out of the hospital while I was still under anesthesia and feeling very weak, citing that it was the eve of Tisha B'Av and they were closing early. I wasn’t given enough time to recover, and I went home with horrible nausea. The whole experience was very unpleasant.

I was cured of cervical cancer at Ichilov. I had a hysterectomy and they said it was the best option at my age (I have grown children, so this surgery is suitable, I don't need to give birth). I chose a more expensive operation - minimally invasive, because I did not want to be cut strongly.Very liked the doctor Dan Grisaro, who performed the operation.Tactful, optimistic, professional, with great respect. A week after the operation I went home, and then returned two months later for chemoradiation therapy. All this time, while I was undergoing treatment, I lived in an apartment, my daughter and I came alone.In general, everything was normal, our coordinator from Ichilov was always in touch with us, accompanied us to the procedures, helped us to communicate with the medical staff of the clinic - not all of them, of course, speak Russian, and it is not usual.But for a few days we got used to communicate through the coordinator, and then we got used to the procedures.... I started to have strong side effects, it was bad, but, fortunately, the doctors quickly reacted and prescribed me cover drugs. Of course, they did not completely eliminate the side effects, but it became easier and I was able to finish the course. Now all the scans are clean. I sincerely hope that this will be all and I will never hear about oncology again.

Professor Goldenberg diagnosed me with vaginal cancer by suggesting a biopsy at my first consultation.
