Dr. Konstantin and Experts Medical have been a great help in the way to treat my father’s prostate cancer. They found me the best treatment option for my father which is doing SBRT (a type of advanced radiotherapy) using an MR-LINAC machine. They have many good doctors in many specialties. Services compared to other private medical clinics in Istanbul are much better.

I addressed to the Medicana hospital. The translator met me, so there are no language barriers. The first time I signed up for a consultation with a gynecologist-reproductologist Selman Lacinu. He wins someone’s favour immediately. He is very neat in inspection. He offers a variety of treatment options based on your wishes and material capabilities. Very competent doctor! After consultation with him, I immediately decided on IVF. We arrived with my spouse on the next day. The professor himself conducts the whole cycle. All staff is very attentive, sensitive, and friendly. I was very pleased and recommend this hospital to everyone!!!

Hello, this is the first time I have been examined at this clinic. I want to say that the ophthalmologist explained everything in a very friendly and intelligible way. He really knows his job. After examination, I received a recommendation from the doctor. I would like to come back next year again.

Let someone say that heart valve replacement is already an ordinary operation.
But knowing the cases when it ended with serious complications, I decided to play it safe and chose a clinic with an excellent reputation – Yeditepe University Hospital. The hospital itself is located on a pretty territory, with a small garden. This, of course, is my subjective opinion, but according to the quality of the operation and the care of hospital staf, I really appreciated the staff working there.

Hip replacement is a very difficult operation, specially when you are 55 years old. However, my daughter said that I had nothing to fear at Yeditepe Hospital. She accopmanied my in this hospital. It was pleasantly surprised that we were met there and taken directly to the hospital. We were even assigned an escort, or rather a coordinator. After taking all the necessary pictures and passing the necessary tests, I underwent the operation. But I cannot say that rehabilitation was as difficult as I expected. After all, literally after 2 weeks I was able to move around calmly. My daughter was very happy that I recovered so fast. And what?! You also need to play with your grandchildren!

I underwent a complex surgery of spinal cord tumor remuval at Yeditepe University Hospital last November. I just want to leave a review about this place. Firstly, if you are looking for highly qualified personnel and the latest equipment, this is the place for you! I was satisfied with absolutely everything. And the operation, and how I was looked after. How they treated me. Everything was excellent. I just know that from now on, I will only come to this clinic for diagnostics.

We were looking for a doctor because of my mother’s sudden onset seizures. After long examinations, we decided to turn to Professor Ugur Thyre. The doctor operated on my mother, a meningioma was diagnosed in the left temporal lobe. Endless thanks to Professor Thure, his team, as well as Drs. Kaan Bey, Bihter Khanym and all the medical staff, and especially Dilara, Selma, Ban, Sedat, Baris and Mehmet.

My husband was diagnosed with Stage 4 brain cancer in 2021. His prognosis was dire and the UK doctors told us very little about our options. After much research I found the IOZK. We’ve been going to IOZK for my brain cancer treatment – it is a very special place. The brilliant Professor Van Gool leads his incredible team from the front; with care, unparalleled expertise and the greatest respect. IOZK is responsible for my MRI scans looking better all the time – I have no hesitation recommending IOZK to anyone – if you have cancer, I urge you to go!

Our daughter was diagnosed with terminal brain cancer aged 18. In the UK she was told to make memories and given 6 to 14 months. Not good enough.! So after much research and speaking to people, IOZK in Cologne, Germany caught our attention and thank God it did. We made an appointment and met Professor Stefaan Van Gool who explained the ethos and procedures to us and offered us a plan which made complete sense. We started to make regular visits to Germany, even through lockdown and I can only say good things about everyone at IOZK, they were just brilliant. Over the next four years Laura’s health improved dramatically and she was an able to go back to University and complete her degree course. We never once thought we could beat this disease, but we did give it a real fight and this was undoubtably down to the kindness and expert medical knowledge and care given to Laura by IOZK.

Unfortunately, the cancer did win in the end as we knew it would, but Laura lived for nearly 5 years post diagnosis. I believe this was down to IOZK who are at least 5 years ahead of anything being done in the UK to treat Glioblastomas. Laura believed this too and she always felt better after returning from treatment. Having read some of the previous reviews I think it should be pointed out that IOZK is governed strictly and is not allowed to make profit, it has to break even and plough the money back into research. I would also like to add that even though Laura was under the supervision of many consultants in the UK, it was the straight forward advice and help we received from Professor Van Gool which we valued the most. IOZK was singularly the best decision we made in trying to help our daughter fight cancer.

The therapy is very solid and understandable. My thanks go to the entire medical team and to Mr. Altuntas, who looked after me very well during the treatment. I felt good here. Keep your positive attitude!

The therapy is not standard and requires thinking, which may not be the right thing for everyone. On April 3, I had a surgery for removal of a rectal polyp. I was operated on by the surgeon Svetlana Makhlankin with the team and anesthesiologist Roman Schneider. The operation was quick and painless. Everything was professional. The nursing sisters in the waiting room Eva and Julia were very attentive. This is not my first visit to Assuta hospital. I want to thank the staff and hospital management.

I got an appointment with specialists in various fields, including an oncologist, a mammologist, an endocrinologist, etc. I passed all the necessary laboratory tests and in less than 2 weeks I got the results. At all stages of the trip I was accompanied by a coordinator, who greatly simplified my stay in the clinic. I was very glad that I did not have cancer. I will never again use the services of Russian doctors, and I will only go for treatment abroad. It’s worth it. After all, life and health are the most expensive.
