Three days ago, I had gastric sleeve surgery. And without any difficulties, we managed everything and were discharged after two days. I was pleased with the attention of our doctors. As for the gastric balloon, the first two weeks were nausea, etc. During the diet process, good weight loss occurs. However, over time, as the stomach grows, the gastric balloon becomes ineffective. It feels like there’s no balloon, and eating continues as usual. I follow my diet before the balloon, otherwise, the money is completely wasted. You don’t feel the balloon much while eating. Satiety comes some time after eating, so I don’t highly recommend this method. If you go to our dietitians for weighing, you weigh in, but don’t expect extra attention.

On Monday, 08/01/2024, I underwent a gastric sleeve surgery and umbilical hernia operation at the Adatıp hospital. I came to the hospital after reading many bad reviews. Friends sent me examples about the difficulty of the procedure and the challenges of recovery. But I went with no prejudice, neither good nor bad expectations. The staff was very attentive, and I found myself in the radiology room. The procedure, which I thought would be long, took only two or three minutes. There was no pain, discomfort, or cramps. It was like swallowing a large pill. The recovery process can be different for everyone, so don’t take this as a final opinion. Around 10:30, the balloon was placed. In the evening, cramps began, but they were tolerable and less severe than I expected. The next day I drove 350 km back to my city. Now it’s the third day, and the cramps have almost gone. Follow the staff’s instructions. I am very satisfied and recommend the gastric balloon. We are in constant contact with the doctor, coordinator, and two dietitians, which adds confidence. They monitor everything I eat and drink, which gives extra assurance.
