It has been 6 months since my liposuction surgery with Girin Plastic Surgery and Dr Park Deok Joon.
I had a total of 1900ml taken from my stomach and 1200ml taken from my arms and face. I went to Girin Plastic Surgery because I was finding it hard to lose weight due to genetics.
After 1 month my swelling went down, and after 3 months I started to see my shape. Now after 6 months my body looks more contoured, especially my stomach and hips. I have a beautiful hourglass body which I didn't have before.
The biggest advice i will give is you must must must eat healthily after your surgery. I was walking daily and drinking lots of water. I cut out all sugar from my diet and only ate healthy food. However after 3 months I started eating unhealthy again and I saw my weight was increasing. Now I am starting to eat more healthy again so that I can keep my beautiful new body.
I used silicone gel for my scars. I still have some visible scars but they are getting lighter over time. The doctor advised that the scars on the back can take a few years to disappear. The one on my chin disappeared after 3 months.
After my surgery I massaged my arms and stomach which helped with swelling and lumps. I regularly exercise now to help me keep my new shape.
I am very glad I chose Girin Plastic Surgery. The doctors, nurses and staff have all been helpful every step of the way. I do not speak Korean so I had a translator along the way. If you have any concerns or questions, please ask them. This is an important surgery so you must feel confident before going ahead. I reached out to 3 different clinics but had the best and most transparent response from Girin. I did not feel pressured when booking with them. They gave me time to think about my decision whereas the other clinic kept pressuring and messaging me about the surgery.

My honest impressions one week after 360° abdominal liposuction and fat grafting to the buttocks at Girin Gangnam Plastic Surgery Hospital.
I went alone from the Busan area up to Seoul, had the liposuction and returned the same day. Well, “the same day” is relative — I left at 6:00 AM and got home at 2:00 AM the next day 😂
My abdomen didn’t hurt much, but it was very swollen and bruised — I guess it depends on each person’s body.
The worst pain was probably in my throat: the doctor said to fast (no food or drink) for a full 12 hours to ensure surgical safety. I managed not to eat, but not drinking was hard — still, I pushed through for the sake of the result.
If anyone notices their weight goes up right after liposuction, don’t be surprised — after about a week the weight drops quickly.
It’s only been one week: lots of bruising and swelling, but my waist is already smaller and my buttocks are rounder.
For those interested in liposuction and fat grafting: Dr. Park Deok Joon performed my surgery; his pre-op consultation was very thorough and I’m completely satisfied.

I went to Girin Hospital in Seoul Korea for arm liposuction surgery and I am happy with the results! I found Girin through Instagram and I saw they recorded the whole arm liposuction process for their followers. I also saw some amazing before and after photos and those after photos were the results I wanted to achieve.
When I flew to Korea, I had a courier pick me up from the airport and drop me off at my hotel which was very convenient.
I had a consultation with Dr Park Deok, who specialises in arm lipo (10 years experience) which made me feel more comfortable. Post surgery, I saw they took out 850ml of arm fat!
The recovery was a bit tiring and difficult but other than that I am really happy with the shape of my arms. I feel more confident wearing singlets and tank tops and my arms suit my body size really well. They look natural and the scarring is minimal.
I highly recommend this surgery hospital in South Korea!

Months since I got it done and my experience was great! I love my results.
