Scientific activities and publications

Tansu Altıntas is actively involved in research aimed at improving surgical interventions such as optimizing the use of surgical materials and treatment methods for various diseases including cancer and abdominal diseases. Her research also addresses postoperative complications and treatment using minimally invasive techniques.

Dr. Altıntas also conducts clinical research on the implementation of new approaches in surgical practice, such as the use of low-dose steroids in the treatment of inflammation in the breast region, as well as evaluating the impact of different treatment modalities on patient recovery.

She is the author of more than 15 scientific papers. Her research has been published in journals such as International Journal of Colorectal Disease, Balkan Medical Journal, Journal of Endometriosis and Pelvic Pain Disorders, Gene Reports, Surgical Laparoscopy Endoscopy & Percutaneous Techniques, Diseases of the Colon & Rectum, Turkish Journal of Surgery, Turkish Journal of Trauma & Emergency Surgery, Chirurgia-Italy etc.
