Robotic surgery at Nemocnice Sv. Zdislavy
Robot-assisted procedures at Nemocnice Sv. Zdislavy Hospital are performed on the state-of-the-art Vinci X system, which provides a 3D image of the surgical field that is magnified many times. In addition, it replicates the surgeon's actions with the highest accuracy, leveling sharp movements or hand tremors, which eliminates the human factor and increases the safety of surgical intervention.

- Second, robotic surgical instruments are more maneuverable. The robotic arm can rotate 360 degrees, providing the most convenient approach to the operated tissues, which is inaccessible to the human hand.
- Thirdly, the robotic system has a number of technologies such as laser guidance, image stabilization, fluorescence imaging that help the surgeon to act more precisely, especially when there is a risk of damaging nearby blood vessels and nerves.
What robotic surgeries are performed at Nemocnice Svaté Zdislavy?
Nemocnice Svaté Zdislavy performs the following types of surgical interventions using the da Vinci X Robot:
- buccal plasty of urethral narrowing (restoration of the urethra using a graft from the cheek mucosa);
- pyeloplasty (treatment of obstruction of the ureter-lochanic junction);
- bladder neckplasty;
- prostatectomy (resection of the prostate gland);

- kidney removal;

Treatment of orthopedic diseases at St. Zdislava Hospital

Very cozy, small hospital with a very pleasant staff. The equipment is good, large bathrooms and toilets. Lying here for almost a week for surgery and I wish all hospitals would behave like this. Very nice doctors, nurses and orderlies, full of humor and friendliness. Thank you very much, everything was much more bearable thanks to you.

When visiting the surgery department, Dr. Karel Rebel told me that I had an inguinal hernia. Upon admission to the hospital, I was explained in detail how the surgery would take place and when it would take place. The operation went without complications. For everything I would like to thank Dr. Igor Šimonik, Dr. Lubomir Novotny and Dr. Milan Malechek, as well as all the nurses and staff. I can only recommend it. I had prostate surgery in early November 2021. Within 5 days I was able to go home. I was very pleased with the attitude of the doctors and nurses. There was always an optimistic atmosphere, no one frowned. Only at the beginning of the shift there was more talking. The atmosphere is pleasant, the food is good. I highly recommend it.
