Dentistry at Diadentis
In Diadentis, dentists, in comfortable conditions for the patient, carry out:
- diagnostics and treatment of caries with the help of high-quality composite and ceramic durable fillings;
- replacement of amalgam fillings with modern materials;
- minimally invasive treatment of root canals using an operating microscope and a three-dimensional filling technique, resection of the root apex;
- treatment of periodontitis (periodontal disease) using closed curettage, minimally invasive surgery, gum augmentation, and bone reconstruction.
The practice currently offers Spark aligners. An additional implant guarantee is available subject to written conditions; its requirements and scope are explained individually.
Dentistry for Children at Diadentis
Diadentis practices a special and individual approach to pediatric patients. Treatment and pain management methods are selected individually, taking into account the child’s age, dental condition and level of anxiety. Also, a specially trained assistant in a playful way teaches young patients how to brush their teeth and take care of their oral cavity.
Comprehensive Dental Care for the Elderly at Diadentis
Diadentis takes into account the particularities of dental problems and the needs of the elderly. They are provided with a wide range of services from preventive cleaning of teeth and scheduled checks of removable dentures to fixed prosthetics on implants.
Dental Treatment of Anxious Patients with Hypnosis and Nitrous Oxide
In case of an acute fear of the dentist, patients are encouraged to try treatment in a state of light trance with the help of professional hypnosis. It is also possible to receive treatment in a state of sedation, which is achieved with nitrous oxide.
During the procedure, the patient inhales a mixture of nitrous oxide and oxygen through a nasal mask. He is in a state of light sleep, but, if necessary, can talk to a doctor. After treatment, it is quickly removed from this state without side effects.
Dental Prosthetics at Diadentis in Essen

- bridge prostheses (metal-ceramic and ceramic);

CEREC (CEramic REConstruction) technology, which allows making ceramic inlays, crowns, and bridges in just one session, is used in Diadentis. With the help of a virtual impression of the teeth, the prosthesis is machined from the ceramic block and immediately installed on the patient. Metal-ceramic crowns made of the highest quality materials are also used.

Dr. Schmid works quickly, with precise and confident movements. He radiates absolute confidence in what he does, which inspires my trust.

Without a doubt, the best dentist I have ever been treated by. Dr. Schmid and his wonderful team do outstanding work.
All stages and possible treatment options are explained and discussed in detail so that even someone without a medical background can understand everything. As far as I can tell, the equipment and treatment methods here are state of the art.
The aftercare is excellent. I have never encountered such a caring approach in a dental practice before.

I very rarely write reviews, but I simply have to share my exceptionally positive experience of treatment at Diadentis.
After several other dentists had done me more harm than good, Dr. Schmid took on my complex case and achieved an excellent result. I had almost given up hope that dentists like this still existed.
My treatment is not finished yet, but after everything he has already done for me (for example, removing a silver post from a root-filled tooth, placing implants in the very limited space in my mouth and much more), I am confident that everything else will be done perfectly too.
Dr. Schmid takes a holistic approach to treatment and always acts exclusively in his patients’ best interests.
He and his team work very well together. All the practice staff give patients a sense of confidence and make sure their needs are taken into account.

As a patient with anxiety, I entered the practice with a very queasy feeling.
My wish was to get implants in the lower jaw and finally not to have to use denture adhesive anymore, or to be afraid that the denture would come out while eating.
After a nice conversation and several examinations it was clear that it would work.
The explanation was very good.
Now after 4 months I can say that everything worked out well.

I had a malocclusion due to a broken jaw in 1979, which subsequently caused pain in my right arm, right hip, and right knee.
