For metastases in the abdominal cavity, surgeons perform intraoperative intraperitoneal hyperthermic chemotherapy (HIPEC). With liver metastases, intra-arterial therapy with embolization is conducted.
Neurosurgery at University Hospital in Krakow
The department's neurosurgeons specialize in the treatment of cerebral aneurysms using endovascular procedures, minimally invasive removal of pituitary tumors and intracerebral hematomas, and deep brain stimulation in Parkinson's disease. The department is also equipped with the most modern equipment for complex oncological operations using stereotaxic systems and neuronavigation.
Hematology Center at University Hospital in Krakow
